Milk is rich in vitamins A, D, B2, B12, PP, useful minerals (calcium, selenium, phosphorus, zinc), contains amino acids necessary for the body. Proteins are easy to digest, which makes milk an indispensable product in children’s diets. If the body absorbs lactose well, milk helps lower blood pressure. Including dairy products in the diet normalises the metabolism and improves the immune and nervous systems. In the case of lactose deficiency, fermented dairy products should become a substitute for whole milk. The microorganisms and fungi contained in fermented dairy products improve digestion and intestinal microflora.
